The Baikal is a high volume and safe sea kayak. The design was created from experiences of long-term expeditions in Patagonia, South America and Baikal sea. The boat has good stability and a fast straight line. The large roomy cockpit offers good comfort to the paddler, especially for larger paddlers.
The standard specification includes the day hatch in front of the cockpit, two main hatches, deck lines and netting, rudder system or skeg, back rest, foam seat pad. It has an adjustable seat and knee pads as well as the foot rest system which is clamped by a single cantilever tension bolt on the centre tram rail. |
