Nookie Amp Spray Deck

The UK-made Amp spraydeck sits just below the top-tier Kevlar® PRO in the range. Built using the same updated pattern template, it features a hand-painted, thick natural latex coating on the underside for exceptional grip and durability. A high-spec 10mm shockcord locks the deck securely in place, creating a reliable watertight seal.

Constructed from 100% Armotex neoprene, the deck features a distinctive small diamond-patterned outer for enhanced durability. This high-quality neoprene is significantly tougher than the cheaper jersey fabrics commonly used by many other brands, offering superior abrasion resistance and long-lasting performance.

The Amp is easier to fit than the Kevlar® PRO. While Kevlar® offers superior protection, it has limited stretch by nature—whereas the neoprene construction of the Amp provides greater flexibility without compromising performance.

Nookie has incorporated premium wetsuit technology—typically found in high-end surfing suits—into the waist tube design. The neoprene waist tube features a raw-cut edge, meaning there are no stitched bindings or trims. This allows full contact against your skin or paddling jacket, significantly reducing water flushing.

All seams on the Amp deck are glued and blindstitched, with additional heat taping around the waist to ensure a complete water barrier.
