Made in Cornwall, UK, the Nookie Surf Skirt is a 4mm hi-density Armotex® neoprene spraydeck with pre-stretched 10mm bungeycord around the edge and now with a latex underside to GRIP. THE highest performance surf spraydeck on the market, re-patterned in 2023 and the recommended deck of choice by Hobson Kayaks & Ride Surf Kayaks.

The Nookie Surf Skirt is a 4mm hi-density Armotex® neoprene spraydeck with pre-stretched 10mm bungeycord around the edge. The underside of the neoprene is now coated with latex to provide the best grip on the cockpit and also provide more protection to the neoprene against the combing. The waist tube is constructed from 3mm Jersey neoprene for a comfortable dry seal. All seams are glued & blindstitched and Jersey taped for extra confidence. Available in two deck sizes to fit your boat perfectly and 3 waist sizes.

Sizing
Measure all the way round under cockpit rim using a tape measure or piece of string. Compare the circumference measurement to the chart below:
SMALLDECK
Circumference – 180-205cm
Front to back – 65-75cm
KEYHOLE
Circumference – 195-225cm
Front to back – 75-85cm
WAIST SIZES
XS – 26″(66cm) – 30″(76cm)
SM – 28″(71cm) – 34″(86cm)
LXL – 33″(81cm)- 40″(102cm)
There is some overlap in these sizes, it depends how tight a fit you prefer.
To Fit Boats / Kayaks
These decks are a performance fit. You might need to wet the latex on their first fitting to help slide the spraydeck on. Just use fresh water on your hand, rub over the latex and on she goes. This will get easier with use as neoprene gives a little when used and wet.
